Galatians 5 :13″ You my brothers were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature rather serve one another in love”

In a lay man’s term, the question can be addressed as “Are you using or abusing your liberty in Christ?”

Liberty is precious, and God has rendered it to us in Christ. We are so free to the extent that we can choose to let God speak, have His way or use us. we can decide what we want on earth, how and when we want it done and it will be so.

The Freedom is vast, the liberty without limits. It gives the perfect justice as to why God needs to judge the church at the end of time otherwise,it would be unjust and unreasonable to judge a people that had no rights, choices or will of their own.

What we do with this gift of liberty reveals the true state of our hearts towards God and other people. Just because God has been good to you despite your disregard to his Word and Holy Spirit doesn’t signify you should continue in the acts of darkness or the flesh.

Paul preaching in Galatians 2:17-18 declares ” If, while we seek to be justified in Christ, it becomes evident that we ourselves are sinners, does that mean that Christ promotes sin? Absolutely Not! If I rebuild what I destroyed, I prove that I am a lawbreaker”

While you are enjoying your liberty, don’t let yourselves loosed in a manner that suggests you are comfortable with sinful practices., because in doing so, you are telling the world directly or indirectly that Christ promotes sin.

You see, Jesus destroyed the sinful nature, and if that be true, You ought to be building the excellent nature of righteousness that He has given you .But if you go about rebuilding the very nature He destroyed, you are abusing your freedom, His love, mercy and goodness shown towards you. You make light the price he paid for your righteousness and justification.

A king has so much freedom and liberty in his kingdom, and he can decide to utilize, harness or abuse and exploit this freedom. His decisions can determine to a great extent the quality of the joy of the people who made him their king.

You are a king, tell me, what are you going to do with your freedom? Will you make God proud of your choices, will others be glad you are here?
